Click on the word "search" in the previous sentence, or click on "Program Search" in the menu to the left to find a program and go to its brochure page. At the top of your program brochure page, you will click the Apply Now button. Duke students will then enter their Duke Net ID and password. Non-Duke students should follow the procedure outlined below. The application will prompt you to select your term in which you are applying. After you arrive at your application home page, you will have several areas to complete, which depending on your program may include:
Material Submissions
Electronic Recommendation Request
Questionnaires
If you are a Duke student petitioning a program, search for the program named "Petition" from the program search page.
If you are returning to work on an application you have already started, click the appropriate Log In link located in the upper right corner of this page.
Log in problems? Please contact Valerie Cullen , Computing Operations Manager. See Log In Difficulties for some common log in difficulties and solutions.
All Duke students should submit an application through this site, regardless of whether they intend to study with a Duke-administered program or a non-Duke program. This will inform Duke of your study abroad intentions and allow the Global Education Office for Undergraduates to assist you with your plans. Students will still need to apply directly to individual non-Duke programs per the instructions of each program.
After you have created an application, you will use the MyGlobalEd link on our website and then the "Duke Log In" in the upper right hand corner of this page to access your application(s) whenever you return to the site.
Non-Duke Students
If you are a Non-Duke student, you will not have a valid Username or Password. When you have located the program to which you wish to apply, click on the 'Apply Now' button on the program brochure. This will lead you through a procedure which allows you to request login credentials.
When you have filled out the form, click on 'Create New'. You will get an alert box letting you know that our web site has emailed your username and password.
You can use the credentials in this email for getting online and officially applying for the program.
After you have created an application, you will use the MyGlobalEd link on our website and then "Non-Duke Log In" in the upper right hand corner of this page to access your application(s) whenever you return to the site. Please note that you will continue to use the "Non-Duke Log In" and your original username and password even after you enroll and receive a Duke Net ID .
If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us at globaled@duke.edu.
